We are delighted to present the 2025 Annual Report of Current Challenges in Thoracic Surgery (CCTS). The journal has continued to expand its global presence, with an international editorial board, diverse authorship and readership, and growing website pageviews.
- CCTS has an international editorial board comprising 48 members from 11 countries, with the majority from the USA (57%), followed by Japan (13%).
- CCTS published 43 articles in 2025, including corresponding authors from 9 countries, predominantly from the USA (58%), followed by Canada (9%), Italy (9%), and Japan (7%).
- CCTS has attracted 63,531 website users from 180 countries/regions in 2025, with the USA accounting for the largest proportion (31%).
- CCTS received 155,260 pageviews in 2025.
