We are pleased to present the 2023 Annual Report of Current Challenges in Thoracic Surgery (CCTS). The journal has shown its internationalized editorial board, authorship, and readership, stable number of publications, and steady growth in pageviews.
- CCTS’s editorial board consists of 83 members from 13 countries, with the majority from the USA (53%).
- Among the 50 articles published in 2023, corresponding authors were from 10 countries, primarily from the USA (52%).
- A total of 24,741 website users from 158 countries were recorded in 2023, and USA accounted for the largest proportion (33%).
- The pageviews have presented a steady modest growth, reaching 58,027 in 2023.
