Michael R. Gooseman is a consultant thoracic surgeon at Hull University Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust. His clinical and professional interests include minimally invasive and robotic thoracic surgery. He is also a consultant for his trusts major trauma team with a further interest in thoracic trauma. He has a wide and busy practice undertaking all aspects of thoracic surgery with the exception of transplantation. He is an honorary senior lecturer at Hull York Medical School in the United Kingdom. He is the current chair of the European Society Thoracic Surgeon’s working group in thoracic trauma. He has a busy and productive robotic thoracic surgery practice delivered with excellent clinical outcomes.
