Abstract

Prior studies have found that hypoxemic donor lungs, measured as PaO2/FiO2 (P/F) ≤300 mmHg, do not confer adverse outcomes in lung transplant. However, this has not been investigated since UNOS modified the composite allocation score [Lung Allocation System (LAS)] system in 2017. This also remains unknown in heart-lung transplant (HLT). Here, we analyze the utilization and outcomes of hypoxemic donor lungs in HLT.
